Huntsville, Alabama is a diverse and unique city with just the right mix of heritage and technology. We have been a key player in NASA and the quest for space since the 1950s, earning our nickname, “The Rocket City.” Be an astronaut for a day at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center or go back in time visiting Alabama Constitution Village and Early Works Children’s Museum. Drop on by Harrison Brothers Hardware store or enjoy a stroll through the Huntsville Botanical Garden and take in the southern charm. Or enjoy a night on the town starting with dinner at 801 Franklin and on to a performance of the Huntsville Ballet Company or our Symphony Orchestra. For those with a fancy for high fashion, shop ’til you drop all morning at Bridge Street Town Center, eat lunch at PF Changs, and don’t forget the gondola ride before taking in a movie at The Monaco Pictures. We even have our own professional hockey and minor league baseball teams! There’s something for everyone and everyone feels right at home here in Huntsville.
